It is a visionary who can think critically and acts with integrity, courage, and respect. One does not have to be born to be a leader, and many tools and resources exist to support the development of high-quality leadership.
Fellowships provide a variety of benefits. They provide opportunities for cultural immersion, expanding both professional and personal networks, experiential learning, and professional development, and are sometimes accompanied by funding. For leaders of human dignity, fellowships provide them with the opportunity to discuss, test and fine-tune their vision and solution to the cause they work on, to engage in in-depth discussions with their peers and to build a network of support with regard to the typical challenges that come with leadership. Vicki Prais is an award winning human rights lawyer and independent human rights consultant with over 28 years of experience, stretching from working with civil society organizations such as Penal Reform International, international actors such as the Council of Europe or the United Nations or government actors such as the UK government.
